Family Adventures in Paradise
Most of the year, our resort is visited mainly by adults. But in the months of July and August, we host many families with children enjoying their summer school holidays. To make the holiday enjoyable for the whole family, in those months we offer activities that are designed to be enjoyed by all.
We have the possibility to put bunk beds in the rooms, so they comfortably sleep 4, and we have two rooms that can even sleep 5 or 6 by adding two bunk beds.
Besides that, we tailor some of our existing activities to become more kid-friendly. The horse riding is popular with this age group, and we add fun components to our existing offering:
Combine the sunset cruise with swimming and tubing behind a faster boat
Add coconut bowling to the island hopping tour
A combined inshore fishing and island tour, with the option to snorkel
Additionally, we offer a few unique experiences that are loved by the whole family:
Campfire and underground cooking with sunset on an island:
We prepare the meals to be cooked together in the kitchen with the chef, and roll the meals to be cooked in banana leaves. Late in the afternoon we take a boat to a beach and dig a shallow hole in the sand and place rocks in the hole. We build a campfire on top, and for about half an hour we heat up the rocks with the campfire. Then we move the campfire aside, place the prepared meals to be cooked on the rocks, and cover this with a layer of sand.
Now we have created an underground oven. We let the food cook while the fire burns and the sun sets, and after about 45 minutes the food is cooked. We dig up the food packets and enjoy a lovely underground-cooked meal on the beach. We head back home in the dark, which is also an exciting part of the journey an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Drive with a guide to a special spot in the Horconcitos mangroves, where crocodiles hang out at night and use a flashlight to spot them and see their eyes hovering above the water. An exciting and educational activity that the whole family can enjoy.
